On the Road

The car is packed (and I mean *packed*). I've had my breakfast. I just have to get dressed, grab the dog and hit the road for Minnesota. I hope the snowstorm will be over before I get there (and that it's not headed in my direction!)

Job News

The good news is that I am soon to join the ranks of the gainfully
employed. The downside is that I got a one year contract to do some
computer programming for the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.

I'm excited about the opportunity - the work looks interesting - but
sad to leave my guys. I'm taking Dumbledore with me for company and
I'm working on a furnished apartment near the clinic.

We got web cams so I can chat with my guys every night, and it's pretty
cheap to fly so I'll be visiting. (I've got to come back in April for
a mammogram). I'm driving out, so I'll take lots of scrapbooking
supplies with me (I'm betting that the ratio of clothes to scrapbook
suppplies will lean heavily towards supplies :-) ).
