Coloring with Copics

When I saw this stamp, I knew I needed to color her hair!  I added a little sparkle with Wink of Stella.

Altered Type Tray

This type tray has been sitting around waiting for inspiration, and it finally struck.  While the Mod Podge molded things looked really nice in the end, it was several hours worth of work.

Jewelry

The chain I had for this Origami Owl necklace was irritating my neck, so I replaced it with sterling chain and a ring to hang the dangles from.

I've wanted some Alex & Ani bracelets for a while but they are pricey.  Then recently I was going through my big bag of leftover charms from the store and realized that all I really needed was bangles and split rings.  A little work et voila!

A Class With Tim Holtz

A highlight of my Spring was a class with Tim Holtz.  It's a shadow box with a book-like cover.

We made faux print blocks.  When I came up with "WE4" for my three characters, it defined the theme of my project.

The boys are growing up and soon we will be just two again.  And two will be large enough of a family for me if the other person is you.

Country Music Album

This album was inspired by a 6x6 pad of cowboy themed paper.  Once I saw it I knew I needed to document my love of country music.
I covered a Bo Bunny chipboard album with faux leather paper.  Some grungeboard hinges, swirly rhinestones, a rub-on and some rhinestone jewelry complete the cover.

The inside covers are covered with faux lizard paper.  The first page is a photo of me at a Sugarland concert.

I saw Brad Paisley when I was in California working.  I had an amazing seat seven rows back from the front.

Justin Moore opened.

Next up was Miranda Lambert

Fianlly - BRAD!!

He touched me!

I was so close - all my photos were fantastic!

Later that year, I saw Sugarland at the Greek Theater.

On my way home from CA, Dan and Dumbledore and I were stranded in Albuquerque for a week, and I got cowboy boots at a store that sold feed and saddles!

The Places I'll Go

I was inspired by this paper collection to create an album of the places I'd like to travel to.  The album lives in this book-shaped papier mache boc.  The cover of the box is a digital collage.

the back cover of the box is another digital collage using Tim Holtz's travel labels.
